The powerhouse Spanish Harlem Orchestra (SHO) returns to 午夜剧场 Center to kick off the holiday season with a festive evening of Salsa Navidad, celebrating Puerto Rican pride, rhythm, and sabor! Under the direction of four-time Grammy Award-winning pianist and arranger Oscar Hern谩ndez, SHO brings its signature energy, impeccable musicianship, and authentic New York salsa sound back to the Bronx.
This year鈥檚 celebration features Grammy-nominated vocalist Herm谩n Olivera, 鈥淓l Sonero Mayor,鈥� known for his fiery improvisations and commanding stage presence, and the legendary Edwin Col贸n Zayas. Puerto Rico's "Master of the Cuatro," whose virtuosic playing captures the island's holiday spirit.
